Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie
A delicious smoothie inspired by the flavours of fall. This smoothie is rich, satisfying and loaded with nutrients to keep you full all morning long. It is the perfect smoothie to transition from the lighter tastes of summer to more comforting flavours of the fall season. One of my great healthy smoothie recipes. You can use organic canned pumpkin puree, or cook up your own pumpkin by steaming or roasting; paired with a frozen banana, the richness of almonds and hemp and delicious earthy quality of molasses, this will become your new favourite.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 3 dates (pitted)
- 1 banana (frozen)
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 2–4 tablespoons hemp seed
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tablespoon raw almond butter
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until smooth
